Our Brand Ambassador Lalita Babar

Lalita Babar-Bhosale (born on 2 June 1989) is an Indian long-distance runner. She was born in a small village (Mohi, Tal- Man) in the Satara district, Maharashtra, into a family of farmers in an area which was regularly affected by droughts, which adversely affects the agriculture in the area.
Lalita started her sports career with Kho-Kho in local area under the guidance of her childhood coach Shri Dnyanesh Kale sir. Because of some unavoidable reasons, she shifted her focus from Kho-Kho to athletics. She started with taluka level competition to reach her first national representing her school. She won first junior national medal in year 2005 where she ran bare foot. Lalita participated in almost all long distance events viz, 3000m, 3000m Steeple Chase, 5000m, 10000m, 25km, Half Marathon, Full Marathon and Cross Country. But, she brought laurels to India predominantly in the 3000mts Steeple Chase event.
